PROLINER®
Strong in Quality Control for Windmills
The Proliner® can be efficiently used in the windmill production process as a quality control device. With the Proliner® you can check produced items fast, easy and accurate. The Proliner® is used for different stages in the production process and you can directly check the dimensions. All the measurements made with the Proliner ® can be exported as a .dxf file and directly used in a cad program.
The process starts with measuring the moulds and the produced wind turbine blades in 3D to compare them and to compare the measurement of the blade with the design work and the production drawing. By placing the measuring and production drawing on top of each other in CAD, small production flaws can easily be discovered and also the difference is accurately shown. This measurement is very important because it determines the aerodynamic shape of the blade.
Flanges are measured in 3D with a projection to 2D. In this way small imperfections in flatness can be detected, measured and checked.
Before attaching the blades to the top of the windmill, the mounting holes on the blades and points on the mill are measured and checked to ensure the construction will fit properly.
Endurance control will be done when the windmill has been running for some time. The blades are measured again and this 3D measurement is placed on top of the measurement of the blade that was made after production in the factory. The Proliner® then determines if the forces of nature have twisted the blades.
From the beginning to the end the Proliner® provides accurate information for the Quality Control Process.
